Default removing tints

sti 5 typeR rear quarters are dark tinted from the factory but the fronts have been done the same and need to take it off,shame as it looks evil but insurance co/police say no no only prob is i cant seem to peel it off theres no edge

Best and easyest way is, and this is from experience...

Get a mate to heat the out side of the window up with a heat gun, only for a few seconds, start at 1 point, thn you peal the tint off where it has been warmed up, thn slowly move the heat gun across and you just keep pealing it off, it should come off and leave no glue on the glass.
If there is any, just use thinners and a rag to clean it off. job done!


I dont a whole 5 door escort within an hour!

Ahh never thought about the heat gun cheers,police tries to peel it off but couldnt get an edge,werent very chuffed.
