Anyone no of a thread with some detailes or your own experiences on upgrading a pre facelift classic Impreza front to a facelifted front?... Does the 98 on bonnet bolt on to standard earlier hinges etc.. Any help much appreciated

Pretty sure it's straightforward, needing bumper, bonnet and grille, then headlights and indicators. AFAIK, bonnet and bumper are straight swaps.

Remember that there were TWO facelifts, 1997 and 1999, recognisable by the bumper being THREE slats or two slats respectively, and that SOME parts aren't interchangeable between the two
