Default black headlights?

ive seen a few newage imprezas now with black headlights on here. how is this done? cos it looks awesome.

on the ek honda civics, we put the lights in the oven to strip them apart and paint them. this was to make them look like ek9 type r lights.

is it done the same way?

i have done mine,it was a little daunting at first cooking the headlight to get it apart

also the missus went barmy when she walked in from work to find my head lamp baking on 65 degree C

But once the first light is done the second was a doddle, just make sure you get a good re-seal when putting the lights back together,as one of mine has a little condensation where a wee bit of water has seaped through the sealant

Looks Fookin awesome though
