dont even know if it is called that, but it's the stuff thats attached to the underside on the bonnet, mine is a bit tatty and want to brighten the bay up a little, was considering putting that alloy look film on instead but wondered if it would cause problems with reflecting heat back into the engine bay.

is there any other products out there that can be used instead of the horrible black loft insulation type stuff thats already there and that wont **** about with tempretures under the bonnet.

any help appreciated

 

Just reaprayed mine with a can of matt black Halfords paint. Mine was just discoloured though and not falling to pieces.
100% improvement.
