carbon bonnet off p1 spraying question

just bought a blue bonnet carbon off a p1 but i want to have this sprayed silver would this be a problem ,dont know a lot about carbon fibre bonnets and spraying,

if its allready painted itl be fine just wet flat with p800 and paint the colour of your choice
