Default STI FRONT AERO SPOILERS

Would like to fit a set of front aero spoilers on my 04 wrx like on the sti, would like to know if the front bumper needs any modification or do they just bolt on?

You do have to do some drilling into your bumper, But its well worth doing, looks really good with the Scott Lowe front splitter.

Need to get some updated pictures, The car sits lower now on Coilovers and you can see the big AP Brakes.

Just been reading your tutorial. very good. Is it really nessacery to leave the clip on the leading edge? if that one was cut off aswell then no cuts would have to be made to the bumper?

You really need to keep the top tabs that slot into the bumper, otherwise it won't fit snugly enough to the bumper.

Thanks........

Yes as DJ says, you need to keep the tabs, or at least the one on the leading edge. Alternatively you could use some mastic, but this might mark the paint work.

The position of the holes is critical or you will see them. Keep them to the lower edge of the existing groove in the bumper.

The only thing is with the eibach on the car the wings scrape on the driveway , but i can put up with that.
