I have a 2001 bugeye GX sport. I want to have a turbo bonnet, purely for aesthetic reasons but cannot find a second hand bonnet anywhere. I have spoke with my local Subaru dealer, who quoted me 500 quid for an unpainted bonnet! The dealer said that I was best off getting a stick on one (that they supply). He reckons that they look just as good as the real thing at a fraction of the price.

Has anyone seen one of these fitted? cause I dont want to pay 200 quid to have one fitted/painted but it look cheap

 

how about trying scrappers but trying to find one without front end / bonnet damage might be "interesting"

have a search as there's a few threads that list various scrappers - there might be one somewhere near although quite a few can send parts (could be a tad steep sending a bonnet and you'll need a suitable letterbox )

 

how about buying a turbo and not trying to make a sport look like something it clearly isnt
