Hi,

I am in the process to giving my MY98 WRSport Classic a "Supreme" Makeover so to speak.

I need to decide which spoiler to use.

Options are:

1. Original Genuine P1 Spoiler (Have one at the mo )
2. WRC/22B Spoiler (DR Motorsport)

3. possibly a WRX STi v5

The front will be a MY00 Bumper with a P1 Lip.

 

This is the version 6 STI spoiler on a '98 UK car. Wheels are WRX '01 17" although they are now graphite. Front spoiler from MRO Styling.

 

Personally I would go with a V6 spoiler but have voted the V5. I wouldnt like to see a P1 spoiler on a car that wasnt a P1-guess I am just a purist-but it just wouldnt look right.
Although we all strive for big spoilers (me included - Prodrive one) I sometimes think the car looks best with the V4 spoiler fitted - somehow looks like a bulldog on steroids. and even better you can see out the back

Its seems that the dilemmas I have are shared amongst Scooby owners So Im not alone...

I was movin in the direction of havin a WR Sport but P1 lookalike...including wing badges etc etc...

Decisions Decisions....probably comes with the ownership of one...

The P1 spoiler is the same as V5 but with the carbon rear lip and P1 embosed into it.

I like/have the 22b/WRC one as it's something different
I also have the P1 front splitter and MY00 bumper. Not sure the rear spoiler is big enough to balance it out now though

I want a perfect balance hence why i am inclined to go for the P1 spoiler as it will compliment the front....

It's a 22b/WRC one from DR motorsport. Made by Ocarri (sp?)

 

This will be a future mod for me also,
I prefer the V5 to V6 for my taste..... failing that I would put the P1 spoiler on if I had the chance.... flame suit on as they say....

Slight change of direction but who supplies a really good quality V5 these days ?
I read of lots of cheapy ones with fitting problems and because most of these are mail order it does make me a little hesitant to order anything like this on line.

oh and for the record i prefer the V5 to the V6 too
