Is the sti6 front grill the same as the sti3 grill or in other words would the sti6 grill fit the sti 3 front?
Where would one get an sti6 front bumber and sti3/sti6 front grill?

AFAIK, you'll also need to change the bonnet and the headlights as both have a different profile to that grille.

Have you thought of somewhere like TSL, DRMotorsport etc for an STi6 "style" grille, but made to fit your car?

The bumper shouldn't present as much difficulty, although getting one may!
Try GradeA Subaru, or other breakers.

I reckon the bumper on the STi6 is the same as all 99/00 models so should be available, then the STi has a splitter on it, available from scrappys, people like TSL, DRM, etc or even Subaru themselves, around another £150.

I thought that the sti3 (97) bonnet was the same as the 99/00 classic shape, I could be wrong. I will try some of them places mentioned.

You might be right, just checking

 

An STi 3 will be a late '96 or '97 model, so it will have the later bonnet, etc.

So to change the grill it's a straight swap over. It costs about £100 plus vat for the Subaru item.

The bumper will also swap straight over, all you need is the later style indicators, and a couple of orange wedges.

Yes,
The grills for STi 3 & 4 are flat fronted.
The ones for the STi 5 & 6 are angled to stick out about 1" at the bottom.

It's a better shaped grill overall, so will look great.
