Default Automatic door mirrors

I thought that i read somewhere that you can retro fit older (MY96) electric door mirrors so that they wind at the push of a button (or arming of alarm)

Anyone know if it can be done?

Import models have the electrical folding mirrors, 95 onwards I think.
In regards to the mirrors folding on arming the alarm, it is possible.
I decided not to have this, instead I went for total closure of windows & boot release.

Not sure depends were you get them from, but usually they are colour coded.
Unless you like them in the black plastic look.

I had to find a replacement passenger mirror (electrical folding) for my 95wrx. I discovered that there are differences between the earlier & later mirrors. Mirror curves more by the triangular bit, cant remember which earlier or later.
My breaker told me that I had the later shaped mirrors after comparing my smashed one?

Thanks, anyone know how easy it is to wire up?

Are the electric folding ones heated as well?
