I have a GF8 wagon..with a version 5 body kit. I recently came across an STi replica Version 5 rear top spoiler. However it did not come with any mounting hardware. The company I bought it from says it shouldn't need any, they claim it should be "glued" to the rear window even though the spoiler has holes in both the arms for bolts. I'm not comfortable glueing such a thing to my window either way.

So my question is, in England are these spoilers common....they certainly aren't here. If so, does Subaru have a mounting kit for sale there for this type spolier. If not, does anyone know of a company there that would have an aftermarket equivalent?

if you have an original smaller spoiler you use the original brackets from that,

 

It was my assumption that the fittings from the smaller spoiler went into the metal around the glass, not onto the glass itself.
