I have a 1997 UK Spec Subaru that needs a new rear bumber, someone has offered me a STI rear bumber, will this fit my UK Car?

Are the fitments different?

Im not sure about uk to sti bumpers.
But ive fitted a 99uk rear bumper to my 95wrx, the only problem I found was that I had to make some brackets for the number plate lights & I had to remove the large bracket that holds the square shaped number plate (jap) other than that it fitted ok.
I went for this as I had the complete face lift done & wanted the back to match plus the rear bumper has a more rounded/smooth look.
