Fitting Bug Eye Fog covers (anyone have these)
Hi Gang
I am thinking of buying some covers as shown in the pic below, the fitting instructions i was told seemed a little hard to follow on the phone......
does anyone have them fitted ??
Can you just run through it for me please

Hello mate, I bought and fitted a similar type to this (the see-through mesh version with an STI logo), but they should be similar to fit.
Each cover should come with a single mounting bracket. If you look behind your foglights while they are in situ, you will see a screw (on the upper, outer corner), within the light well. Undo this screw and then screw it back, having attached one end of the mounting bracket in the same screw hole.
The bracket should now be attached behind the light bulb, but jutting forwards beyond it.
Now it's time to attach the cover.
You will see the obvious teeth in the bottom of each cover which neatly fit into the holes at the bottom of each light well. Slot the cover into these, and (in theory!) the upper part will easily meet the outer end of the mounting bracket, and you should be able to screw the cover to the bracket.
I say 'in theory' 'cos I actually had to bend/reshape my brackets a bit to get them to fit snug!
hope this helps, sorry it's so rambling!
