Due to moment of minor sillyness I need a new front bumper for the STi. Been quoted approx £650 inc paint and fitting from local main dealer. Does this sound about right or anyone know where I can get one cheaper?

1 stole it!!

 

all depends how bad your old one is m8.if its just the bumper cover ya need and ya gonna put your own spot covers and side air dams on it ya can get one from the main dealer unpainted for about £150 +vatif ya need the like shock absorber bit behind it if not the covers £124+vat. obviously itll cost ya £100-£150 to get it painted but ya can save a lot of money idf ya swap ya old stuff thats not broke over

Main costs quoted are approx £125 for bumper, £100 paint and £180 labour with the little bits making up the rest.

BJ555, if u don't mind me asking was this on insurance?? I told the dealer that I'm paying myself not thru insurance - wonder if this has anything to do with the differencein cost
