Best Place For STI Spoiler
Currently has the prodrive mid level spoiler but would like to get the bigger one. Im after the larger one which has a built in third brake light.
My car is not avaliable from Subaru until January so was considering asking them for a total cost including spraying & fitting. Is that a bad idea?
Comments Welcome.

Many Thanks

IU would think that a dealer would charge a LOT more than that for a spoiler, painting and fitting.
I got an STi6 from GradeASubaru, £305 delivered next day, paid £80 to have it sprayed, and fitted it myself for about £6 for the sealant.

Havent got any problems fitting the spoiler just worried about the brake light and how that would need to be wired up.
By the way would the prodrive mid level spoiler be worth any money? im thinking it could go towards the sti one.

Doesn't your OE or existing spoiler have a brake light then?
If it does, you simply cut off the plug, and either solder the wires, or use a "chocolate bar" coonector, like I did.
If it doesn't, you'll have to get behind one of the rear lights, identify the brake light, and earth cables, then tap into them via Scotchlok connectors, and lead the wire up to the spoiler, clipping/taping it out of the way on it's journey.

sorry m8 but i cant resist this, best place for the spoiler is at the back of your car on top of the boot, SORRY. i've got one ordered myself from "DIRECT CAR PARTS" in sunderland at £199 but i've been waiting 6 weeks now, beginning to wish i'd paid a bit extra coz i could have got one in a couple of days but good luck with your car anyway, KEV
Thanks for all the comments much appreciated.
Just for the record I enquired to Local Subaru about STI Spoiler which they qouted £500 ALL IN
And Also quickshift which they said is £250
These prices any good?
