First of all, thanks to Talizman for the STI decals - most excellent.

Secondly whats the ideal surface treatment before applying these things. Reason I ask is the thank the car was given the Meguiars 3 step treatment 2 weeks ago and I doubt its a good idea to add the decals on top of wax.

Should I remove the wax from the areas I want to add the decals? and whats the best stuff to remove it?

Cool

True, this shouldnt make much difference, but if you are worried, just give the area a good clean and then apply the sticker!

Wink

no need to remove the wax before applying...

if it's a larger decal,
mix up water and 2-3 drops of dish soap...
spray soap solution lightly onto car before
applying the vinyl...

this allows you to move it into place
before using the squeege to stick it for good

smaller stickers?
as said, make sure surface is clean,
peel, aim, and stick

have fun, good luck
