P1 lip splitter
hi, has anyone fitted a p1 splitter to their car without changing the spotlights to match?i'm thinking about getting one for my red scooby but aren't sure if it will look right? not trying to make it look like a p1 just like the deep lip and the front end visual impact, any pics anyone has would be great. cheers

Jamie, looks very nice.
My one is genuine as i got the P1 bumper and splitter from a breakers. The one DR Motorsport is a replica. Very good copy. You can tell its a copy as it doesnt have the tow eye cover like the originals.
Cheaper as well. You could buy a genuine P1 splitter from a dealer but expensive

Seems like DRM are doing 2 copies now.
One is the one without the tow eye cover for £220.
And the other is an exact replica of the p1 splitter for £300. But in the pic you cant see if the tow eye cover is there or not

From: R.I.P Piphead, at least you are home now :(
The one in the pic is not a P1 Splitter, the other give away clue (along with no toe eye cover) is that the outer two holes, dont have a top as such, they blend into the existing holes on a standard bumper
The DRM one doesnt do this
TBH I think 300 quid is way too dear for a replica P1 splitter, they are only 270 quid brand new from a dealer (excluding VAT & Paint) but then they are PU and not Fibreglass, not sure what DRM's are made of

the one on subie gals picture is the one for £300 painted, on DRMs site, the one in the pic above is their other one,the one sonics on about, which is £220 painted, a while back someone got a jun splitter from ETS and we all know they are the best fit and paid £150 at a bodyshop to get it painted so £300 for p1 painted is a good deal,
Genuine? Any damage at all? With or without the backing bar? With or without driving lights and fittings? With or without driving light covers with holes?
You'll get a better idea once you answer the above, there are so many about to choose from and the above make all the difference.
For example, a 98 bumper, foglights, fittings, indicators and backing bar, in good condition, went for £70 on e-bay recently.
