#1
does anyone no the number for secur fix in basingstoke i have a mobile number but it never gets answered.got quoted £300 for tinting all round at another place so im looking for the baragin.talked to one bloke at a company and the old bill are clamping down on tinting cause they cant see in the cars through the front window so they can see you using mobiles etc.
the limit now is 20% or limo on back windscreen
35% on back windows
50% on the front but the police are looking at changing the laws around chrimbo time so it might be lighter than 50% which is getting out hand after that you might as well not bother

Have you seen this:

It recons that you can tint the front up to 20% and all the other bits of glass at 30%, I've never heard this!
When I had mine done, it was 35% max on front side and up to 75% on the rear (with up to 90% on the back window if I wanted). I only had the front done at 35% as the back had already been factory fitted with 40%-50%, so the fronts were just a tad lighter, blended nicely.
I was thinking of getting mine done on the new car, but it sounds stupid now if even 35% is going to be a problem (as I wanted it al little darker than that when it was done, but didn't want to take the risk).
