Getting a MY98 and want to update the grill to MY99/00. Should I just get a copy (who does good ones?) or just buy one from Subaru? Anyone know the price of the official Subaru one?

Question

Why not just mesh it, and the lower one too?
Total cost is about £12, time about an hour, and the mesh is held in place with wire twists, (twisted behind) and small, thin zip ties, so can be removed if necessary.

I've done this to mine, and also made the badge pink for about £5 too.

The copies are quite heavy!
The std my99/00 grill from Subaru is about £115 inc VAT (I think)

Dyney - thanks for the info. I think I'll try some breakers.

Cheers
