Hey all,

Been asked to post on behalf of my brother. He's looking for a phase 5 wrx spoiler as cheap as possible. Can anyone suggest an aftermarket company who might be able to supply one?

Thank yer.

Stick a post in the Wanted forum, you might be lucky and get a 2nd hand one.

Try David Reid Motorsport - got mine from there (STI 5) and it was good quality, very good service and aroung 350 painted.

This was an offer at the time as normally painting adds about £100.

Cheers
Paul

Grade A are doing spoilers for £250, but they can be a pain to fit, but cheap!

No the price from GradeA is £250+vat+painting.
I've just bought one, and am half way through fitting it.
Quality is pretty good, and fitting is..................well, it's not a doddle, but it isn't impossible either.
I got it painted for £80 plus the paint, (£12). The guy is even going to have it back after I've fitted it to give it a final polish, and make good any marks I put in it!:
If you do get one, mail me and I'll do some tips/instructions for you.

BTW: Ordered it from GradeA last Weds , late afternoon, it was in my house by 0915 the NEXT DAY! Incredible service!

Yep, that'd be me, except that now it DOES have the spoiler on. You should have intro'd yourself.
I was going in to change a tube of Puri-flex that I bought to stick the spoiler on with. Typical me bought what was probably the only defective tube in the shop, nearly gave meself another hernia trying to squeeze the stuff out of the tube:

LOL..!!!

I was on my dinner hour..!! other wise i would..! car looks good..!! i though you may of been looking for something along those lines... when i did mine i put some double sided sponge tape around the base of the spoiler..!! Its a bit of a mission fitting it isnt it..! I can remember being stood there with the drill thinking 'please dont **** this up dan... please' Feels good when you get it on though and thinking of the money saved..!

Talking

Dan: Yep, I did the same, double sided sticky, then my youngest, and the neighbour's son holding it just to be sure while I drilled.
Then I glued it on as well with Puri-Flex, but couldn't see the holes I'd drilled due to the black goo,: ended up having to move it about, and by the time I had it tightened down there was Puriflex everywhere, and it was nearly gone off!
Spent an age cleaning it all off with white spirit.:
Done now, and I'm pleased with it.
