Painting the "orange wedges"

I have done clear indicators and repeaters etc, just need to get rid of the orange wedges (STI 5 Type R)
a) How easy are they to remove (not even looked yet)
b) The car is Cool Grey - would they look ok done in matt black ya reckon??

be very careful not to damage the paint if you use a screwdriver. Alternatively you can just unscrew the indicator and pop them out from behind.
As for painting - if you want them black, they are actually black underneath the orange so paint stripper will do the job! If you want to code them, just make sure you sand them down to give the paint something to key into.
