Do the holes for the covers in the bracket, lign up with the holes that bolt the bracket to the car? The plan being, to buy some long bolts and bolt the cover onto the lights & car through these holes. Therefore the bracket would not be required and you can keep the lights on the car with the covers over them.

Would this work do you think?

yes it would..!!! i did similar but made some brackeds out of thin bendable ally... and screws the brakets to the original holes then screwed the covers to the brackets.

I dont think you will fit the lights under the covers though..!!

Dan, you're a helpful bugger aren't you?!

What do you do for a living, citizens advice or the samaritans or something?

Wink

The covers do seem to sit over the lights quite nicely, so in theory I could leave the lights in place and bolt the covers over them. I'll have a play sometime and post the results.

The covers I have are the same as the picies above.

How long do the brackets need to be (incase I do need to make some)
