is the subaru lettering on the boot simply stuck on? Can I just remove them with some dental floss etc?

Great - so presumably with some swissol fluid and a clay bar then some wax you won't see any 'residue' where the lettering was?

Thumbs up

You can also get the residue off using WD40. Spray the area, rub it with your finger to spread it and avoid it running, leave for about half an hour, remove with paper towel.
Slightly cheaper?
