I have managed to get a roof vent off a friend and i'm still thinking weather or not to fit it. "will it look as good as i hoped" and "how do i fit it to the roof well enough to take 120mph winds, but able to remove it should it not be as i expected"
It comes with a 8mm bolt/stud which is ment to go through the roof but I'm saying NO! NO! NO! NO!
Please lend me your views on should I or not, and if so HOW ?????

Thanks Adam

If someone is interested in one their could be 1 roof vent avaliable

I like the roof scoop thing but if you have an RB5 as the username sugests I would say keep it relitivly standard as it is already a nice limited edition IMHO! However I'm not to far from you as I live in Farnham and would love to give you an opinion in the flesh so drop me a mail at aligwrx@tiscali.co.uk and I'll pop over and see ya

i have a roof scoop fitted and at 120mph it's still there

what i d o love about it is when the noise of the wind passing through sounds so much like an aeroplane.

The ones I make are contoured to the shape of the roof, and are stuck on with double sided trim tape. No damage to the roof and are very secure.
Hope this helps,
Rob.
