Question

Can any one recommend a good window tinting service in the Bath / Bristol area. I tried Pentagon for a quote who want £395+vat for a normal tint or £625+vat for their supaglass tint (anti smash & grab). Has anyone tried this company who could recommend them.

The Pentagon Supaglass stuff IS the real deal. Expensive, but if security is a priority then try to find out how effective other films are before choosing. I've heard opnions, but only seen the Pentagon stuff in a real test.

Another thing. I've thought about getting security film and I'm wondering if it's really necessary to do ALL the windows. My main reason for considering the film is to guard against car-jacking attempts, especially if my missus was to drive the car. Wouldn't this purpose be served by getting just the front windows done, which should be much cheaper. I'm not really worried about theft from the car.

Thanks for all the replys, must admit I nearly fell off the back of the chair at the thought of £625 Still with the threat of car jackings these days can't be too carefull.

I'm not convinced security glass would do any good on a Subaru due to the frameless windows. The film is designed that when the glass shatters you can't push it inwards but it can be pushed out from the inside for safety reasons.

On a Scoob once broken the glass could simply be pulled out from the top since there's nothing holding it in place
