HKSubaru, nah, going to spend the extra cash i would need to buy a p1 on mods for my My00 instead, should end up with a much faster more powerful, stylish scooby that way IMHO.

 

Etheridge-Bird, is it made from fibre glass or the bendy shatter proof stuff that the genuine ones are made from?

 

Peccy - not sure, I ordered it and had it sent to the dealer for fitting (collect new car next week).

As soon as I can get a proper look, I will let you know !

I have a picture of one fitted to my old 1994 WRX - but I do not have a scanner or digital camera.

If someone would like me to post (envelope + stamps etc) the photo for them to put on the BBS I will gladly do so.

PS It does finish off the front of the car very nicely.

I got mine for £20 from local dealership... only had two cracks on it...

Just waiting for a new bumper from them.. oh and another headlight and bonnet...

So anyway tell dealership that you want one, broken or not... as they would just sling it in the skip they make more money..

(Or raid their skip!)

what's the chance of getting a p1 splitter though with the number of p1's lower than 1000 and your dealer to have one?? You were well lucky mate, but me too, got one with bumper for 50!

 

How do you fit it ?
Anyone know, I have one ready but unsure if I can proceed myself or need a garage to help out.
