Anyone fitted the MRO splitter to thier pre 99 Scoob? Does it look over beefy with the standard skirts? and is GRP the flexable plastic stuff that origional bumpers are made of?

Pics would be great, thanks in advance.

GRP/fibreglass is not that flexible, cracks VERY easily and needs alot of work(prepping etc)before painting

Pukka spoilers etc are made out of plastic and are MUCH stronger.

I dissagree,
I make these spoilers, and whilst GRP can crack under impact, it is a strong material.
As for prepping, many manufacturers sell their products raw and they do need a lot of work before painting. All my products are already prepped, primed and ready for the top coat of colour, as the money back promise states. Can also be supplied colour coded.
Dont know weather you noticed, but if you look on the 'show room' section of the site http://www.mroscoobystyling.com/customer.gallery.htmthere are many pics of scoobys with this air dam fitted.
Hope this helps, Thanks, Rob.

I liked it so much I bought two!!! (The 1st one lost a battle with a block of wood in the middle of the motorway carriageway.)

It does (almost legally!) let you move the numberplate from in front of the radiator - that's why I went for the spoiler initially.

Seems a good fit and finish, but suffers a bit from stone chips.

I wasnt personally having a go at your products but the guy was asking if MRO spoilers are plastic and i stated no.

Over the years modifying cars ive found "most" manufacturers in GRP supply them unprepped and found them to be very weak under stress ie kerbs and ramps

Its nice to know yours are fully prepped and you offer a money back promise
