Default Bootlid

Hi. I'm new on here so I'm sure this has been asked before. I've just bought a p1 which is in really good condition but I've noticed that when I open the boot lid there's a bit of rust on the underside of it just where the little rubber stop should be.
Will a 4 door boot lid fit my car?

From a classic, yes, get one from a 98 on car if you can.

Great. Any reason why a 98 on car? I've been in touch with one already. As it turns out a 99

Great. That makes things a bit easier.
It's on a long list of things to sort
