Default Rhino-Lip Front Splitter

Has anyone had any experience with this product?

I'm looking to replace a cracked HT Autos splitter with something a bit more forgiving and durable.

Cheers!

Looks like someone on here has used one, scroll down the page on this link:

If you type rhino lip into ebay there are plenty of options. Also a few vids on youtube that look pretty good. I'm surprised they're not more popular.

Are you looking for something that will add any sort of downforce or just something that looks *good and can take a scrape?

*I don't think that will look good

I was running off of the assumption that the HT Autos splitter doesn't add a significant amount of down-force, so was merely an aesthetic replacement for that. Am I wrong?

I don't think they look miles apart tbh and the added bonus of something which will withstand an excessively high speed bump is definitely something that appeals to me.

For everyday driving you won't notice any benefits of the HTA one, but I'm sure it offers some benefit when the car is driven in anger. The S203/4 would not have come with one from the factory otherwise.

They do look different, the Rhino lip is just a piece of material that you bend into shape and cut the ends wherever you want them. The normal ones are made to fit and are finished correctly

Good to know, thanks. I didn't realise it was a standard fitment item on some models.

Yeah, I see your point on the looks front, it'll never have the same level of finish. Was just curious to hear peoples thoughts, as I hear a lot about people needing replacements on here though and having just bought a car with a cracked splitter I'm also in this camp
