Default Blobeye Rear Bumper on a Bugeye

Does anyone know if a Blob rear bumper is a straight fir to a 2002 sti bug?

I already have the replacement rear lights from a blob.

Thanks

Hi Jura

I have the Blob rear lights already, but just wanted to make 100% sure it was a straight swap before I paid for it.

Thanks

Do the Blob light stick out a bit more than the Bug ones?

As long as its a straight fit it should be fine.

My Bug is a 2002 Sti and the bumper I am getting is a 2003 Blob Sti bumper

Yeah they do stick out a bit at he bottom which is why the bumper does too! Blob lights with a blob bumper are a direct fit on your bugeye

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update, I have the oringla Bug Bumper on there at the moment and with the Blob rear lights they seem like they don't fit, I have a gap on the side of the light.

Could the Bug bumper stop it fitting correctly?

I have Blobeye lights on my Bugeye too and there is a slight gap, where the lights meet the rear wing panel. I don't think it has anything to do with the bumper though In my opinion, probably just the fact that Blobeye lights are a slightly different size and shape so they never going to fit perfectly against the bugeyes panels.

you can fit blob lights to the bug bumper but you have to modify the area where the lights sit to account for the small rounded section on each light. nothing a dremel cannot cope with.
