is it just me or is this guy a crap referee?
i just watched him and his performance was laughable.
please don't reply if your going to say its a hard job making split second decisions and the like. he is a professional and needs to perform like one.
he gives a yellow card to a player for a foul then when they kick the ball away he ignores it Scholes should of walked its the rules. Riley is a inverterbrate!
as referees go he has to be the worst in the EPL.

I see Mark Halsey was made to ref a League 2 game because he called it wrong on the Terry sending off, now that is harsh, Terry let off and the ref punished, WTF

Football is out of control & the FA out of touch, no wonder so many fans are disillusioned with the game these days, money talks and bull**** walks, I for one are becoming less and less passionate about it, I get more pleasure and excitement from Cricket, which sadly would appear to be going the same way as football, money being thrown around like confetti.

Totally deserved the win against the blue schite, but Riley proves once again (with bad decisions both ways [FM ]), why he's not fit to ref at this level. Killed the game with his stop/start whistle blowing. Its a derby, it gets heated, just let the game flow and keep your whistle in your pocket for once.

Halfwit= Referee mike riley.
He should be removed from refereeing. If he is one of the most competent the game is fooked.
If Torres's third was a foul, what was the incident in the Liverpool box between Lescott and Skrtel when they were trying to undress each other?
Riley has to be the worst Referee in the world.
The best ever was Pierre Luigi Collina, no other referee even gets close to him. I don't know why though, its not that difficult.
The Cahill tackle wasn't a red. There wasn't a bad one in the game.
riley was deffo bullied at school with that i agree 100%.
