What he said

Wenger for England

Another puzzler, why build a stadium with a roof and then leave the feckin thing open, do they not check weather reports, I have played on better pitches on a Sunday morning.

I hope Beckham comes on, scores and we eventually lose 2-1. Bye bye McClaren

We need not to qualify, so they sort out all the overpaid prats.

Hopefully they will get somebody decent, as long as the press don't scare them off.

Lampard on 130k per week, he aint worth £130.

Anybody earning more than 20k per week shouldn't play for the country.
Heskey/Barry play with pride, not as a god given right.

Mclaren should resign, not sit on a f**king massive wage, like the Swedish P**ck did.

i'm loving it. just what the england football team needs, humiliating and a damn good kick up the ****.

just watch the overpaid tossers playing their heart out for a wage packet at the weekend rather than doing it for the England shirt

bet he wished he'd gone for robinson now, what a poor selection all over.

no pride, ffs boys sort your **** out.

Carson, bad mistake, doesnt look confident but you cant blame the lad, hes been chucked in at the deep end by a clueless fcukwit.

SWP is brilliant, if only the other players on the pitch could see that we'd be giving him the ball more often, playing it down our strong side instead, Joe Cole and Wayne Bridge are playing absolute gash IMO.

Gerrards playing OK, Barrys giving the ball away too much and Lampard... I dont think I saw his name mentioned once. Crouch is doing what he should do, expect hes relying on midfielders catching up with play to pick up his knock ons, he needs a second striker.

I cant see us scoring 2 goals in this, we have nobody on the pitch capable. I dont like or rate Owen but hes definately missing tonight

Probably not fit enough to play 90 mins, especially on that pitch !

Off topic, but are you sure the roof closes? I dont think its a retractable roof.

Good point, I checked the wembley web site and it states the roof moves to allow air movement and sunlight into the ground, doesn't state that it can close, so i'm wrong on that score, maybe they could have made it so it would close.

Its supposed to close but I bet they were under that much pressure they didnt finish it in time and left it as is.... Unless idiots are in charge of the roof, which wouldnt suprise me as they put idiots in charge of the team

I know he'll never do it but I can dream , who else is there, Fat Sam next ?, great , Shearer being touted in the NOTW at the weekend, do me a favour, Jose ? can't see it and wouldn't want him if he plays his brand of football, Lippi maybe, I no longer know who could get this shower into shape.

I suppose we could have a Home Championships next summer, no one will do doing anything. Thank god we've got the cricket

As I said in another thread earlier, I think Jose would be great for England, only issue is, he has 3+ years before he will see us in a mojor tournament, who wants to manage a national team for that long, with the hassle that comes with the England Managers job? Nobody high profile will take it on and I cant think of an Englishman who is suitable tbh apart from maybe Venables taking over... I noticed he wasnt present for the majority of the first half... Maybe leaving McLaren in the lurch knowing hes next in line if it all goes **** up

Superb result. if you don't pick any United players then this si what you get. I'm happy we're out. Becks is United player at heart and he was the main man when he came on. I now want high level resignations from the management and people in charge of picking the coach.
