i cant believe what i am watching ..........the most attacking England line up in ages and its a pile of cack. Negative football at its worst
Hope the second half is better and i hope they dont bring on crouch because its that old chestnut that seems to work for England would be nice to see if we can win with out him?
C'mmon England

Becks & Gerrard played well - We're still world's apart from the style of play Brasil can play. There touch and quick compact passing is unreal. .

2nd half i thought they played pretty well for a spell, until they went mad with the substitutions and reverted back to the negativity.
Gerrard played well, lampard was still at his usual form in an England shirt, Becks proved his recall was more than worthwhile, Alan Smith was a waste of space and bringing on Wes Brown was a bit of a disaster.

Shows what a fcukwit Mclaren is leaving Beckham out all this time. When you have the best passer of the ball in World football you don't leave him out your team. Lampard again showed how he is the most over rated player in the World, only made good at Chelsea by the team around him. I think he is absolute sh!te. I also disagree with the extra time played at the end, its injury time and nothing else and there were no injuries so there should have been no injury time added on. That said our defence was shocking at the end to concede that goal.
A good point was raised by the pundits during the game, why do the England team not play football at the pace of the Premiership? If they did they would put so much more pressure on their opponents. I think they simply don't play enough together as a team to have the confidence to play at that pace and need more games together, not training camps. However with such an over congested English season there just isn't the time. For the good of the national team the number of games played in a season needs to be reduced to allow for more International matches. It will never happen though.

Although I am not a FIFA ref, I can certainly ask the FIFA refs I know what the instructions are with regards to stoppage time? I'd assume that they are similar to what we are told on State League - stop the clock for the duration of the substitute, any time wasting, injury, etc, etc.....
I only got to see the highlights, the goal was nicely done off Beckham's free kick. Nice to see him sporting a decent hair cut too.

The Premiership. The greatest league in the world.
Sorry to sound off but, why oh why dont we play premiership pace?!!!!
Its only really every few years we see what this country is capable of because every manager firstly doesnt want to lose
Think about the England Holland game, think aout England Germany these are the games that stick in our heads THIS is how we can and should play!!
Friendlies are about honing your team not about giving everyone a game
FFS Mclaren has had all season to watch these players
On another note how the hell does Alan Smith get into the England team ??
I agree with you all Lampard is ****e.
How the hell does Kieron Dyer keep getting into the squad??
All the guy has is pace its like watching Tony Daley all over again lol
Gareth Barry superb season again!!! He's clever passes well but time and time again he's overlooked!!
Ok rant over
