Thumbs up Glazers get the wonga out

Nani and Anderson agreed terms with Utd - left wing (Giggs replacement ) and playmaker (described as Ronaldinho - like). I know Nani is supposed to be another C Ronaldo in the making, but don't know anything about Anderson.

Anyone know anything.

Now we just need Villa, Torres, Eto'o or Berbatov and we're cooking with gas.

Thumbs up

Thanks but then i have to read all the Ash 1/pauld37 nonsense Anderson looks good on your youtube vid, but he seems to play a sort of (fast) Rooney role ? Still with Hargreaves stopping and Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson running at the opposition should eb interesting Allows Giggs and Scholes to rest their weary bones now and then too. Carrick?

I'd expect you'll see these two brought into the team over the first 6 months of the season. SAF is the master at bringing these young players on but allowing them time to develop. I see Carrick playing in place of Scholes on occasion with Hargreaves behind ala Gattuso and Pirlo. Then on other occasions reverting to the roles of this season. gives some nice options I feel.

still need a proven striker. cant see where the money for that player would come from though if the current figures are true.

still not signed these two anyway. Chelski will probably have their parents at gunpoint now scuppering the deal

By my reckoning SAF had £50 million last summer available to spend (quoted), he bought Carrick £14m and sold Ruud £10m leaving him with £46m, add to that the £15-20m made available in the Dec/Jan window and the usual £25m summer fund, I would like to think he has/had roughly £70-80m available, £17m on Hargreaves, £34m on Nani and Anderson, still enough left for Berbatov or Torres, although I can see viduka on a free or Owen for £8m being more realistic, or even Benni McCarthy for £8-10m.

We still need a Right Back as cover for Gary Nev since Bardsley went to Villa, TBH I thought Bardsley had enough about him to make it at Old T, did he sign terms with Villa ?? sure he did. And we should have bought Woodgate for £7m, what a steal.

Pique is back isn't he? Looks good in Spain and can play CB or RB.

quite possible. He'll probably want first team football.

Is Rossi back to fight for a place next season then? If the pace in attack is as it looks then a fox in the box like him could profit a lot.

Pique's going nowhere. There's no way Sir Alex would let him go.

Pique looked good in Spain when we signed him, 20 years ago

Rossi and Pique both struggling to make the 1st team IMO, but I do hope they prove me wrong, I had such high hopes for Rossi.

Don't rule them out just yet. defenders as a rule don't come into their own until gone 22-23 when they're physically stronger. My feelings about Rossi are the same as yours. He may well be prepared to wait for his chance and prove to be a valuable player in the mould of Ole.

I agree on the defenders, Pique has always looked a bit flimsy for a big lad, hopefully a year in Spain filled him out a bit, how old is he now, must be coming up to 20 ??

And to answer my own question
"It was announced on the May 1 that Bardsley would be returning to Manchester United when his loan deal with Villa runs out because Martin O'Neill did not want to make the move permanent."

From Wikipedia, other sites only mention the loan as well.
