Birmingham city anthem (wish you had one villa)
As you go through life, it's a long, long road,
There be joy's and sorrows too.
As we journey on, we will sing this song
For the boys in royal blue.
We're often partisan, la, la, la,
We will journey on, la, la, la.
Chorus
Keep right on to the end of the road,
Keep right on to the end.
Though the way be long, Let your hearts be strong,
Keep right on to the end.
Though you're tired and weary, Still journey on,
Till you come to your happy abode,
With all the love, we'll be dreaming of.
Will be there, WHERE?
At the end of the Road.
Birmaingham! Birmingham!

Gatty, you are, Have been and always will be the SECOND club in the city that you get your name from.. you have NO pedigree, NO history, (apart from a Gipsy curse and a POX on St Andrews... ) Everytime I go into a Blouse's house , theres the Mirrors bought from the Bullring market stating the scores from our recent (but not the last season you were 'up' for some reason?!?!!?) meetings.. Oh, what a small team you really are if thats the only thing you have to crow about.. yes, we may have *earned* the tag of 'Historians' but at least we HAVE history!
now, I suggest you take your tesco bag lookie likey shirts, and **** off back down to Garrison lane and stop shouting the odds before next season is even here, as youve ALREADY been SHOWN the GLORIOUS MIGHT of the Claret side of the city, when we took your measly SIX points back off you to relegate your sorry ***** last time

Hectic you highly strung gob on legs (typical villa) football is by no means dwindling away in fact its coming ever more popular so its here to stay, my point is up to now i agree the village has a better history but i am very confident that in your life span Birmingham city will be the second city's 1st team, i see villa has shown a real hunger for trophy's this last decade happy to survive some would say maybe lacking ambition? after all your a massive club
How many season tickets did you sell last year?
Most villa fans i know defected to man utd as villa lost its crown in the 80,s where as blues fans are blue to the bone and you know it which makes you sick inside because you know i am right.
From a blues perspective ok history aint so good but hey were still here strong and willing looking forward for our future not get dragged back by small minded villa kiddies

i would like to say i activly support the market secter by spending approx£200 per annum on sex toys and dvds, this spices up my sex life and supports my football club win win situation.
dont tell me your a man utd fan from cornwal? whos aunts sisters great uncle harry who was born in the shadows of old trafford so that makes you a valid red?
or was you picked on at school ?
Try the sex toys with your missus or on your self sounds like it wouldent hurt for you to try somthing daring?

oh, isnt it the one the the guy that just bought out the VILLA made all his money from albeit also through his father..
One thing I will concede is that old cliche' once a Blue-nose ALWAYs a Blue-nose, I mean c'mon.. have you SEEN the 'Tilton road' stand (or the gods or the Railway end) on a saturday, FULL of Thick as **** Big Barry Bluenose looky likes wearing their tesco carrier bag style/AUTOGLASS shirts..
your posts on this subject are like the constant caterwallings of the rest of the Blue side of Brum, full of JEALOUS OVERTONES that you've never tasted the food from the big table.
Enjoy the Day on Monday, Im led to believe your having an open top bus parade from The big 'W' ooops no, Im sorry .. its next door, isnt it up to the Town Hall.. to celebrate.... celebrate what? the fact that your going up to the Prem? the same place that the Villa ALWAYS ARE
yeah, ok.. have your day, Small Heath Alliance, Enjoy the 'glory' if thats what you can call it.. but just remember, every time you venture along the expressway towards Spaghetti, look to your left, to Gods Country, to where the glory of the City REALLY IS.. when was the last time the Cattell road rang out to an FA Cup Semi ? was the Blues ground used at any of the Euro 96 games ? So , YES , I think in comparison, we ARE a massive club ...think on, small team... we're waiting, Just up the road in Aston
As for being a small minded villa kiddie.. I can remember the dark days of the old Division two, of being relegated of the trips to Milwall (muppets) and the West ham chicken run, of the Chelsea head hunters,to legging it across Stanley Park in Scouse , but I must have picked up something from being a Brummy , if nothing else... cut me and Im claret,..and believe me Gatty, Ive been cut a few times for my team .

Gatty You ****!! its so EASY to get your back up
how the **** do you perceive what I type as being 'hard'? 'is it cos as a Yoof i followed the team I love ( probably as much as you love your beloved Brummegum) home, away.. *even abroad... sorry , cheap dig * oh, and WTF is .....'KRO'?? this some Zulu thing im not privvy to?
and as for lowering the tone, well only a bluenose who has nothing of any interest to add to the convo would resort to personal attacks on someones wife/girlfriend etc etc as for jealous of Man Ure. have you not seen the 'other thread' I started ?
Im 'Vile' , Im 'Scum' , but Im a 100% Villa fan Gatty.. I dont NEED to retort by attacking your missus or whatever... not that is FOOKALL to do with footy , in fact its low , theres no need for it.. as for the songs , *Blouse* only have two .. **** on , and Wipe that snot,.. so you havent that much of a lead on us.. only song the villa 'have' is Holte Enders in the Sky..
and admittedly , thats crap!
anyways, what about crowds.. ground size/capacity etc?
Ours..:
Villa Park
Inauguration: 1897
Capacity: 43,300 seats
Pitch dimensions: 105*69
Record Attendance: 76,588; Aston Villa-Derby, March 1946
Address: Trinity Road, Birmingham B6 6HE
CLUB INFORMATION
Club: Aston Villa FC
Inauguration: 1874
Club colours: Claret & Blue
'Yours'
St Andrew's Ground
Inauguration: 1906
First match: Birmingham-Middlesbrough 0-0
Renovations: 1993-1999
Capacity: 30,000 seats
Press seats: 40
Record Attendance: 66,844; Birmingham-Everton, February 1939
Address: St Andrews Road, Birmingham B9 4NH
CLUB INFORMATION
Club: Birmingham City FC
Inauguration: 1875
Club colours: Blue & White
And lets face facts, a tin can ALWAYS echo's , therefore seems to make more noise

good lad heccers i am glad you see sense
chill, atleast you and i are both "local" fans and dont need to attatch ourselves to a winning team because were "loooosers" in real life.
KRO....................keep right on
i wont bother cutting and paseting some stats but i am sure they wont be as good as villas.

Why would villa be worrying about man utd?????
Why would we envy them?????
Every villa fan knows we cant compete with them or havent for many a year but as hectic says there's a long history with us not just a Sherpa Van trophy or whatever it was in our cabinet mate!!!
When was the last time you "PLAYED" in Europe????
Any i dont mean a pre season friendly!!

LOL, I go to Sydney FC matches and stand with a bluenose fan, trouble is half the time we're chanting Villa and Blues songs over each other instead of the local club songs.
Have to say, despite supporting teams that hate each other, we're getting on well as long as we don't mention either club.
As for an original song gatty, how about thiese two from the Holte (editing out swearing and such)........
Didn't get to hear much of these, when I was young my dad disliked taking myself and my brother to derby matches in case of trouble and later on work shifts and my refereeing sometimes got in the way of going to games.
As for anything recent, I haven't been to games for the last 4 years so I'll ask the old man if he has heard anything different to the norm.

Some say that St Andrews is a wonderful place
To the boys from Villa park it's a f****** disgrace
They say they've got showers but we know the truth,
there's a hole in the roof where the rain pisses through
Sing up, we hate oh we hate the city, we hate the city, we do,
Oh we hate, oh we hate the city and we love it when them *******s lose.

As I walked onto the steps of the Holte End,
As I walked onto the Holte End one day,
I saw a young Bluenose all cut up in ribbons
Battered and bleeding on the Holte end he lay.
...
I said to the Bluenose what has happened to you,
Why have they beat you and left you this way,
He said all I did was to come on the Holte End,
To come on the Holte End to sing and to pray
...
I sang that the City were better than Villa
That Villa were **** and they couldn't play,
So they beat me and cut me and left me in ribbons
And here in a pool of my own blood I lay,
...
So let this be a lesson to all bluenosed *******s
Don't come on the Holte End to sing and to pray
'Cause if you dare say a word about our Aston Villa
Iit'll be the last f****** word that you'll ever say.
Villa, Villa, Villa, Villa

funny songs but not anthems i am afraid maybe thats just one thing blues has over villa
As i said before, with every other blues fan we are strong indeviduals, who dont need to attatch themselves to a glory team.
I would rather see the youngsters on my local park running around with villa tops than man utd and chelsea tops on thats just bad parenting!!

Too bloody right fella.. far too many kids 'latching on' to the likes of Man Ure , Chelski and others now dont even support 'British' teams, instead just 'follow' the results of Barca' etc....
