Crouch continues to defy all his critics with a superb team goal. Like I tell a good friend of mine, much better overall player than Shrek and Prossie chaser Rooney.

As for Kuyt's goal, well quite stunning. Dissapointed with the linesman for not raising flag for offside goal. That dents our goal conceded column to 2 goals in god knows how many games.

Title surge is on !

pleased also Manchester has something to shout about too, the casino. Shame blackpool didn't get it, it needed to be re-generated.

2 goals conceded in last 15 games. unbelievabe. Cmon Watford, pull off a shock tomorrow.

I,ve always said it was a gamble going to a smacs meet anyway
you never know with the teams battling relegation sometimes they pull off shock results and fergie has a habit of putting weak teams out

I don't think greed is really what comes into it. If there is a better deal on the table then the board have a duty to consider it. The Sheikh threw his toys out of the pram when he heard the board were doing this.

Time will tell. The way they were talking before though was as if the deal they'd sorted was the deal to take Liverpool forward. If they've lost out on that one because of the new offer then if that's not up to scratch then Liverpool are left in a bit of a limbo.

PS It's all about the money

Yes, DIC did offer the original deal which was almost agreed, but then backtracked and said they'd overvalued the club, presumably then offering less. If the yank offers more, then of course they're going to consider it. The money is clearly going to be a major part of it. A statement from LFC would be nice.

The story I hear is the Yank is worth $1 bil which is about the proposed club value. That would mean future investment would probably come from the banks...... slightly ironic if the case due to all the abuse the Liverpool fans have dished out to the United fans.

Offical word from LFC:

Liverpool Football Club has noted today's announcement by Dubai International Capital.
The process of seeking new owners for the club is still underway and a decision on the future will be taken in the next few days.

He was absolutely, definitely, 100% onside. Great call from the linesman.

Based on that picture, I AM sure, seeing as the pass went to the player forwards and on the left of the guy with the ball.

the dick is offside, plain and simple.

reference takeover, you dont know whats going on behind the scenes, think there are a few more educated finance people dealing with this than here on the forum.

As for manure opinions, you were up in arms and having forming breakaway clubs. Dont see you moaning much about the glazers now. Especially as the guy seems to have put his hand in his pocket.

Pretty tight, but not offside there either. Definately level with the ball.

United fans still don't want them.

As for your club well it seems you had a good investor but people got greedy and you now may end up being owned by a yank who can barely afford the shares for the club let alone anything else. Oh and he's got a good record of going backrupt
