Default Argentina - WOW!!!

A complete master class in football this afternoon against Serbia

I hope that whoever wins the tornament wins it playing great football like that. Different class IMO

..and that's against a team who only conceded once in qualifying, although they have been without Vidic.

Second goal! That is how football should be played!

I've just seen the highlights of the Argentina game.
I'm getting on a bit now (40) so my memory may not be what it was but i think that's the best goal i've ever seen. Total possession, Serbia couldn't get a touch, ball on the ground and to feet. Poetry in motion.
Awesome.
Argentina V who in the final? Immaterial. If they play like that they win the cup.

Great, but still not quite as great as the legendary Brazil goal

I think it's on a par, if not better.

The Argies were frightening. Disciplined and telepathic with their formation, the maintenance of the diamond was like watching a single organism move about the pitch. We ought to be afraid, very afraid.

Sod trying to avoid Germany until the final stages, it's the Argies I wanna avoid. They are by far the best team at the competition based on the performances so far.
