lol.

for a player who's price tag was £22m I expected a lot more - not exactly keeping up with Van Nistelrooy or Henry in the scoring charts is he? Was it Portsmouth who were after him first but were (not suprisingly) priced out of it? If he had gone there and done what he's done at Cheleas then Roman & Jose wouldn't have given him a second thought.

If Eto'o goes to Chelsea I can see Drogba being off-loaded - winning the african cup will make it a bit easier though.

Fortunately, unlike Arsenal with Henry and RVN at Man. Spew, we aren't a one man team

Drogba missed penalty in the shoot-out and didn't win the trophy, that will teach him to shoot his big mouth off

You normally have a good retort but that one is just pants. We have Rooney and now Saha that have scored plenty of goals so if anything Chelsea are the one man team when it comes to scoring as without Frank youd be screwed. And hes not even a striker lol - now that makes me laugh.

Simon.

What a load of tosh - you can't just make up statistics.

I think you'll find that we've had 17 differing players scoring this season, to your 13.

Plus, take a look at this, being players who've scored more than 3 this season:

Manchester United (9):

Ruud van Nistelrooy - 21
Wayne Rooney - 11
Louis Saha - 10
Cristiano Ronaldo - 7
Kieran Richardson - 5
Giuseppe Rossi - 4
Rio Ferdinand - 3
Paul Scholes - 3
Ryan Giggs - 3

Chelsea (8):

Frank Lampard - 16
Hernan Crespo - 12
Didier Drogba - 10
Arjen Robben - 6
Joe Cole - 6
John Terry - 4
Damien Duff - 3
Eidur Gudjohnsen - 3

I think you'll find that there's nothing to justify calling us a one man team.

Nice to see Drogba on top form again tonight.

I'm neutral, not aligned to Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal (so don't flame me ), but I have to say, Drogba is defo over rated.

When you look at Henry, Van N or Rooney, he's not even close. RVN scores loads inc in Europe, Henry scores loads and makes goals for others, and Rooney gets his share but makes loads of goals for others. All top class.

Drogba scores a few, makes a few, but the team he is in (which is very very good) wipe all before them, so no-one notices that he's not prolific, nor makes many for anyone else.

But it can always be said, there's no I in team I suppose.

If I was a manager, I'd take the 3 I mentioned any day before Drogba.

Andy.

All that adds up to Chelsea being 15 points clear, thats the stats I'm interested in

..............so , really ****e Drogba has ten and really good Saha has...........ten

Just think how any points we would be ahead if we had decent striker

And it would seem RVN has scored ten more goals than the next in your list ...........................one man team, as I said

Saha Pld 11, Scored 10 = 1 : 0.91 goal per game ratio
Dogba Pld 19, Scored 8 = 1 : 0.47 goal per game ratio

.......You really are slipping. Old age?

Simon.
