How have the mighty fallen............
Nottingham Forest FC..............used to love to watch them in Cloughie's early days there. European Champions two years running when there was NO second chance "league" system, Division One champions when it was about more than money, League Cup winners extraordinaire.
Last Friday, I watched Scunny, my home town team, (SOMEONE has to support them ), do the double over Forest, and to be honest, forest weren't in it.
Cloughie must be spinning in his grave. HOW many clubs has Megson relegated now?

its cracking isnt it, good win for you guys, 3-1 IIRC. Cant wait for us to play forest next month, got lots of wedge riding on it. Even taking the misses to a lovely meal in Oldham for Valentines day (unlucky for her the meal is a Meat n Tata Pie in the Chaddy End as the Oldham v Forest game clashes with valentines day )

Not sure, the fans still seem to be backing him, theyre only just outside the play offs, hes just signed Nathon Tyson, alls looking good, they seem to lose one win one lose one win one, whilst theyre still up there at the moment I think he'l stay at least into January, anyone thinking off getting rid now is stupid considering the transfer window is about to open. Any new manager wouldnt have a clue coming in at this stage

All we need to do is up our away form a bit. Think the current bad form's because we have to play to such small crowds when away from the City Ground...

The fact that you can chant "you're not famous anymore..." means we once were... and you know who we are...
Better to have lived and died than never to have lived at all sorry who did you say you supported?

Yes yes yes, but thats the point of it all, still living in cloud cookoo land half of your lot. all last season my mate was rabbiting on about how your too big a club to go down. sat in the pub after last nights game I pointed out how theyre only 4 points above the drop now. You know what he said, well we're not going up this season but we're too big a club to go down

I agree mate, half of 'em may be living in cloud cookoo land, but the one thing you cannot take away from the club is two European Cups (with no money and no big names).. lets face it, what we achieved was remarkable and is likely never to happen again.. can't deny that fact... What have Real Madrid won with all money recently, or Man Utd??? (actually, I'm pleased Utd have nothing to show - but that's another story)...
All I'm saying is we may be in the bottom half of the third division, but people still know who we are, what we've done and where we've been... and other clubs supporters just remind us of that by singing about it..
The other thing I noticed earlier, is how managers have gone recently and not been mentioned cos they are out of the premiership, yet the mighty Forest still get talked about no matter where they are in the league

hey, not saying your not a big club, I can only dream of seeing 20k + fans turning up for a league game in division3. Something to be proud off although you do have reasons for that level of support (dunno what Notts Countys excuse is though )

No it wouldnt cause it means a certain other team would probably be the ones to miss out Although I'll be happy to play forest at cardiff for promotion, then we can have the revenge 16 years on that Ive been waiting for, the 3-0 drubbing at Boundary Park still just isnt enough

Right, that's the playoffs then, now a final push for automatic promotion.
Got the hotel booked in Cardiff ready for the playoff final
Best form in the league and 4th highest gate attendance in the league at weekend (and that include the premiership).
Where are all the critics now...

Anyone going to the match against Bournemouth?
I'm probably going, how hard will it be to get tickets if the away end is full?
Are you selling out every week?
Meeting someone who lives that way so can have a localish address
Come on you Cherries!

I'll be there mate.
Can you not get hold of Bourney tickets? Shouldn't be too much of a problem to get them at the moment, but I am expecting a pretty full City Ground for it again.. something like the 28000 we had for Yeovil over the weekend. They are £23 each, have a look here http://www.nottinghamforest.premiumt...,10308,00.html

one of THE best nights of my life, effing brilliant stuff, good football, good support, from the kick off the 17k forest supporters were out sung and the 11 forest players were out played, nothing scrappy or lucky about tonight, just brilliant football throughout.
