I reckon they will self-destruct myself .............. BUT, I don't want Man.Utd. to overtake them!!

The best would be for them to take the title by 1 point!!

I don't want Man.Utd
Is that because they've wiped the floor with your bunch of overpaid mercenaries twice already this season ??

I'll let you have the draw at O/T we were going through our charity period at the time

Is that the period of the last two years ?

It's good to have Utd back at their best - you boys aren't nearly as much fun when you're team look like losing everything

I think yesterday shows how much Robben brings to their team.

Cheeky Sod more like 2 months, sorry we didn't have any for your lot, bar the "charity" shield I can't remember the last time we donated top your cause.

I agree its good to have the real Utd back, Class is permanent as they say

I'm saying nowt till this weekend is over, CITEH always play their cup final against us. In this form we should annihilate them but...

My prediction:

United to beat City 2-0 and Chelsea to loose to Everton 1-0

Said a month Ago that Utd looked good value at 10-1 for the title .

If I were to have a bet on the Title I would put my money on Utd !

Robbens busted foot will prove vital in the outcome of the title. With him in the side they are a very different team.

Ruud back shortly, just what the doctor ordered for the run in

Strange how one dodgy result makes you feel, must admit I felt that we lacked something yesterday, dont know whether it was Robben or not, only time will tell. Should make for a good run in though. Next Saturdays results will be crucial

This is where Mourinho should start to earn his money - it's where Chelsea have gone wrong for the last few years - let's hope they continue

I took 12/1 in September 1/4 of the odds to finish top 3 on the e/w bet, so 3/1 to finish in the top 3, thank you for the cash Mr Coral , to be honest I only made the bet because of the 3/1 to finish top 3

I hope I haven't bokked it now

The last few years they have struggled against the so called smaller teams, dont think that can be said now

What got to them in the past was the pressure of having to put in result after result - against any team. And not letting one hiccup lead to another !

This weekend will have a lot to do with where the title will end up - I reckon Jose is up to the job

Agree with you there Jasey, this weekend we'll see what their made of. I see Terry and Bridge have pulled out of the England game that should work in our favour, maybe. And I think Jose is up to it too

Similar thing happened with Arsenal last year when we beat them at OT, all of a sudden the cocky tw@ts looked rather shaky. The title is still Chelsea's to throw away, but they've made it harder for themselves.

Robben being out is a big loss for them. He's been the difference for them even when not playing well.

I seem to remember a similar discussion last October when Chelsea lost at City, then they went out & did Blackburn, West Brom & Fulham for 4 goals apiece in the space of a month, with a 1 goal win over Everton in there as well

Mark my words, normal service will resume this weekend, City will play their game of the season as usual, and the Toffees are gonna suffer off the back of last weeks result

Unfortunately Liverpool will drop their pants & grab their ankles for Steve Bruce, coz they cant string three wins together, and the prospect of getting anywhere near fourth place is giving them nosebleeds

Exclamation Stop press

Apparently the Chelsea team doctor was sacked by Mourinho personally yesterday because he refused to commit that Robben's foot would be better by the Carling Cup final on 27th Feb. Doctor stuck to the accepted view that broken bones in the feet take 6 weeks to 2 mths to fix themselves.

Official line released by Chelski is that he is resigning due to ill health - Chelsea thank him for his 4 years of service !!!! Pressure beginning to get to Mourinho? As stated in Independent this am.

Hmmm, maybe you should loosen your burberry baseball cap a bit to let some blood flow around your brain and try thinking for a second.

The point is that the doc said to Mourinho I want him fit by the 27th; the doc said no can do - he's got some broken bones and they can take 6 weeks to 2 months to mend; whereupon Mourinho went postal (allegedly) and sacked him on the spot - for not being able to perform a miracle? The club had to concoct the "story" the next day, long after the papers had learnt that the doc had been given the bum's rush.

Not really the actions of an ice cool man, as he likes to portray himself, was it? I think he's beginning to feel the pressure.

With Robben 42 goals in 16 games
Without Robben 8 goals in 11 games.....

Provided it's not Man Utd - Then it's cheating refs that win not the best team

And they could only manage a 1-0 win today with a man advantage for almost the whole game.
