The truth is you were rubbish.

The questions are:
  • Can you accept that?
  • What will you blame it on?

Impressive defensive display by us but still worrying up front. Saha still not doing much.

Really expected liverpool to launch after Wes left the pitch but nothing happened. Morientes didnt do much but its his debut and its not like he as anything to prove in his career.

7 clean sheets in a row for us - not even Chelsea with a very strong team could net a goal.

Simon.

Fair play, good defensive football by Utd.

Christ, that hurt, a lot

We gave the ball away far too much in the final part of the field, sloppy passing let us down. I had a bet that Brown would get sent off, so not all bad

I don't doubt you will paul, unfortunately Should be a good game though.

Incidentally do you know which drugs Mourhino has been on? All the stuff he's said over the past couple of days in the papers the past couple of days and his outburst on Wednesday are typical baghead behaviour? Totally unexplainable

Back to today though
I think United played a good game today, especially with some very noticeable absentees. The defence at the moment are fantastic, Heinze is class and plays football properly.

Even better to see the bitter cockernees from the library taking a beating from the mighty Bolton too. Cracking day.

You've got to keep in mind that this was only his second game back, he'll come good again soon, just let him get another game or two under his belt.

As it's been said, the championship is now Chelsea's to lose. I'm hoping they'll start to rock and drop points, but, if I'm honest, I don't see it happening, but that doesn't mean we can be ruled out of the Champions League and FA Cup, as I think we have the potential go all the way in both - we've got a solid defence that's proving extremely difficult to break down, with quality performances from Heinze as of late. The inclusion of both Rio and Gary Neville will tighten up the back even further. Keane and Scholes were tremendous today, and Giggs has proved a pivotal player these past few months and up top, Smith, Rooney and Saha, when they're fit and on form strike fear through most defences and are able to produce, and that's without even considering the return of Van Nistelrooy.

If it's not to be our year this year, then some wise summer spending, including a new goalkeeper and midfielder, will set us up for a lot of silverware next season.

Yes should be a cracker.
Drugs? no, thats just Jose winding SAF up surely though it doesn't take much. Though Sir Alex certainly didn't make a big thing out of it. good on him. Looking forward to all the banter that will be going on between them over the next few years. Looks like Wenger ain't going to be talking about the big scotsman any more, according to this mornings papers anyway, we'll see

It looks like along wait for the usual bull****ters, too busy disecting the Sunday Mirror no doubt, looking for a shread of credible evidence that they may have been robbed.

Re the phone thrown at Rooney, doubt it was a Vodaphone

And you just know that the phone had to belong to the **** who threw it

I love it....

The fans were no doubt calling him names all game, and he just had to cup his hands to his ears, and the fans started acting like children! Brilliant! Where did the Liverpool sence of humour go?

I don't support either team but I watched the game, neither team played that well but not a bad match, Utd played a bit defensive but defended well and neither teams had many chances, Utd only scored because Dudek made a mistake.

And on Rooney, what did you expect the fans to do? If it was the other way around would the fans in the Stretford End (sp?) have acted any different?? Yes of course they would

Whether they see it now or not. They didn't see it on the night = no goal.

Kind of like the Saha penalty we should have had against you.
