Smile Sir Bobby Sacked

Just found out he's been sacked this morning following the Toon's poor start to the season.
About bloody time to, thanks for what you've done Bobby but you should have left last season with some dignity

That's what happens when you drop Alan Shearer & lose.

Was mentioned before Saturday's defeat to Villa that if they lost - he could be on his way.

I bet he's glad to get out! The fans reaction to last weeks game was amazing! Not long ago they were in the first division and getting ~teen thousand a match. When Sir Bob took over they were bottom or thereabouts of the premiership. Talk about dillusions of grandeur.
Looking forward to seeing the Boro finish above them this season and seriously preying that Shearer takes over as manager roflmao - guarenteed derby matches against sunderland woould be a looming!

Shearer - SHOW US YA MEGILLS!

DISGRACEFUL...................

Not allowing him to retire with some dignity, instead he's been sacked by his hometown club that he's given Champions league football to and made them a regular top 6 club.

I hope now they get f*ckin relegated and that spoilt brat Dyer gets dropped by England.

The disgrace is that it was allowed to go on as long as it did....got a lot of sympathy for the guy, his heart and soul were in it, but the results speak for themselves. All very well being sentimental, but some of the decisions that were made last season ( Solano to AV for next to nothing, Lua Lua allowed to play against us when on loan, forgetting to sort out the paperwork so that Bowyer was able to play in Europe ) speaks volumes about his grip on the necessities of running a club. The generation gap between him and the players clearly didn't help either. Certainly wouldn't hold him solely responsible for our current position, and, like others, I suspect, would like to see the back of ' players ' like Dyer, Bramble, Jenas, and Robert really. All of the above are either sh1te or too inconsistent imo.

I'll think you'll find that that 50,000 season ticket holders, including myself wished Robson retired last season to save face.
He has not been in control of the club since midway through last season and the results speak for themselves.

Discussing it today with fellow Geordie's and knew he would get the sympathy vote from the rest of the country. The same people who hounded him out of the England job I recall

If Robson was left in charge, relegation was a strong possibility but now there is hope with a fresh perspective leading the way.......who ever the Hell it's going to be

Lost a lot a respect from the players and fans. He was on the slippery slope and dragging the club with him. As mentioned 50,000 season ticket holders can't be wrong.

I'm not suggesting he probably should have gone, and that if he stayed the team wouldn't have done that well - but to suggest relegation?!?!?

A "decent" club and chairman would have "asked" him to retire at the end of last season if thats how the fans felt.

Much how I felt, although that is so not Freddie's style
The TV seems to favour Venerables and Shearer I guess it could be worse - Hoddle

Fat Freddie has no idea either, he's the one wanting the Toon to buy Rooney.
Nobody else wants him, everybody knows we need a defender

Shame, throw out an Old Aged Pensioner (for heavens sake he is only 5 years younger than me!!)????

Newcastle deserve to go down - you can't go treating us oldies like that!!

Imagine the senile expert decisions that will now be lost to the club?!

Shearer for manager?? Do me a favour, he's just had his footie-dummy upgraded to a rattle!!

Don't even THINK or McLaren - he is in a up-coming club ...... he wouldn't be seen dead in a dying club like NUFC!!

Oh dear, Oh dear - looks like relegation to me

Pete

Yes Bobby may well needed to have left Nufc. But the way it was handled was a disgrace. The welsh tosser, dyer, and Shearer's moaning like school kids was one of the reasons all this came about. And as for Shepard he's a complete ****.

I think the writing was on the wall. The rot was setting in last season although I think it does not help when the chairman is undermining the manager. He was virtually running the team this season (selling woodgate and trying to buy rooney), sooner or later he was gonna sack Sir Bob.

Never mind....at least the toon can look forward to playing the mackems next season in the championship!!!!

Us smoggies will just have do make do with the premiership!!

Even if the Toon get relegated, we won't be playing the mackems....they'll get relegated again themselves, if there's any justice.
