What's funds like at Liverpool these days? Much to spend or is money tight?
I'm a Hammers fan by the way (Cardiff here we come...). I hope the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle etc can catch up with the top three from this year. I'm sick of the same couple of clubs always at the top of the table, give someone else a chance...

No, United supporter, but same view as everton supporters I guess!
Well I don't approve RK, but I guess if the Thai thing comes off then there will be a few pounds in the pot, and it sounds like even to keep the likes of Owen and Gerrard they need a few big names this summer. Plenty of scope for cutting the wage bill tho...
I've got a feeling that Liverpool represents a good challenge for a manager to prove they can take a big club back to the top so there's a couple of big names that might surprise us yet.

Whoever they bring in has a big job on. There are a load of players there on good money who are ****e. Clearing them out won't be easy, but funds should be there after qualifying for the CL.
Be interesting to see who they go for.
It'll be us in this situation this time next year when we put Robson out to grass. And we've got even more ****e to get rid of than Liverpool!!!!
Andy.

According to Rick Parry, the decision was based on the results of the last 2 seasons. Even Roy Evans' last season at LFC, was better.
Quote: This season, in points terms it was worse than Roy Evans' final season before Gerard came in. That puts it into perspective. It's been a worse season since the last time we made a managerial change.
My one fear though is, if Sammy Lee is a 'dark horse' and they make him the new Manager
LIVERPOOL MANAGERIAL ODDS
7/4: Rafael Benitez
3/1: Martin O'Neill
4/1: Alan Curbishley
5/1: Gordon Strachan
6/1: Jose Mourinho
7/1: Steve McClaren
