And the League Cup. And pre-season friendlies.

But, in the league championship (that we are Champions of, as the song was referring to) I think you'll find a HUGE zero under the L.

So :P to you too

Darkblue - just ignore angrynorth - bitter northern chap - he's just upset cos Arsenal are getting better while his beloved Man Utd are going downhill - faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssttttttttttttttttt.

Still looks like the challenge next year will come from Chelski and Liverpool - ManUtd just making up the numbers and haven't got rid of ruud van-mistalot yet .

I think Arsenal deserve commendation for their achievement but there is a lot for Arsenal to do yet.

This year, below par.

Next year watch **** try and live up to this seasons expectations and prepare yourself for a mighty big fall.

Remember there is still the FA cup, the most important trophy in England according to Mr. Wenger. Of course, its not the most important this year because someone beat you and knocked you out

Will you still be saying that in 10 years time.

Utd fans are starting to sound more and more like Liverpool fans used to a couple of years ago.

So you agree that you're getting worse - If you keep seeling your best players and replacing them with dross you aint gonna get any better

Default Cheats Arsenal

Sorry, not lost a game? I think they would have done if that cheat Poncy Pires hadn't dived to win a pen against Pompey.

If they wanna cheat to win let them. French poofs.

MattyB - yep - diving is part of the modern game - the sooner it's stamped out the better.

ps I'm sure Pompey never have and never would try the same

Angry / Bextait - just think in thirty years time you can sit with your grandchildren and tell of the good old days when Uniched were a force to be reckoned with in Europe .

and how they won the European Cup, and had 7 out of the first ten priemership titles bla bla bla - you see my point about Liverpool yet ?

Reataining the championship is always gonna be difficult with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool breathing down our necks - but at least we don't have to worry about your lot anymore - unless they get their finger out

Its recent history though isn't it jasey, as in last year. I understand if you don't want to remind yourself of us winning the title last year, but that is what happened And you see that is why we are not like Liverpool. You see our history is recent.

We also stand a good chance of bringing in some silverware this year which Liverpool haven't done recently. What is important is that you people down at the library need to understand that going some league games unbeaten and winning the premier league comes nowhere near close to the achievement of the treble.

But despite all the jibes and whatever anyone says - no one beat Arsenal in a league game all season and that can't be taken away.
For ever the 2003/4 season will show Champions Arsenal P38 W26 D12 L0

Nor can the UNIQUE achievement of One European Cup, One FA cup, One league title and only 4 losses in all competitions.

This is true - None of the Arsenal posts here were disparraging of that acheivement in anyway. The Treble was a fantastic acheivement - but you had your time to celebrate it back when it happened in 1999. Now it's history that can never be taken away from you.

Right now, it's time for us to celebrate our undefeated Premiership season.

You can bet anything you like we'll never hear the end of it next time we lose a League game - so I'm gonna have a happy summer and enjoy it while it lasts

Fair enough blue. I never said don't enjoy it. Just that I'm sick of all the rubbish I am hearing about it, and everyone going on like its never been done before, that Uniteds treble was nothing in comparison, that this Arsenal team are now immortal, that this Arsenal team are the greatest team ever to walk the earth. Which they are not.

Enjoy your summer, next season will be good

And darkblue - we've only lost one FA cup game in about three years and all we get from Manure is how they're gonna get silverware this season - which is by no means guaranteed

This is true...

But taking on angrynorth's point - this Arsenal team might not be the greatest team ever (Sorry it's not ManU either!) but they are now immortal. First time it's been done in 115 years is a special acheivement.
Come on - even the Old Firm don't do this in Scotland

A Final against Millwall is as gaurenteed as you can get. LOL!
But this is the FA Cup, after all...

Last season Roy Keane called it a consolation prize, which for clubs like Arsenal and Man U it is - if we're not winning the league, we're not doing as we should.
But just as we did last season, consolation or no, it's still great to win it.

I just hope all the odds get beaten and the boys no one likes get some people to like them for a while.
Don't fancy them in Europe much next season - not wanting to stereotype their fans but...

Man Utd don't have a great record in the FA Cup Final against teams that they should beat - cocky northern fukcers think they just have to turn up and it's theirs.

Bit Like Us in the semi - we obviously thought that Man Utd were worse than they really are

Not sure where I said that was last season, but then again, I've never known an Arsenal fan who can see things the way they are

Thanks for highlighting our 1999 treble achievement. Its nice to know you **** fans are finally realising how big that actually was.

Sorry but no. Not immortal, are the Preston team immortal? Is the Forest team with a longer unbeaten run immortal?

They were the best side in a below average premiership. Not immortal.

Yes they are immortal. Arsenal 2004, Preston 1889 - cos that's the only time anyone's won the league without losing a game.

Are Forrest - yes, because no one's ever had a longer unbeaten run in the league than them.

Are Liverpool. Yes. Cos despite what anyone says they've still won more titles than anyone else in this country.

Is Jimmy Glass. Yes, cos his injury time goal saved Carlisle from relegation.

This is what football is about - the great moments. Doing the impossible. You've had your day with your treble, now we're having our's and you're just gonna have to deal with it.

And all the very best to Millwall...
