BORO win the Carling Cup and gain a place in Europe next season!!
Newastle struggle against BOTTOM competition! They are 'so yesterday'!
Looks like BORO are the way to go if you want to support a 'Proper' Club with vision in the North East!!!

PMSL @ pete who knows feek all about europan football(been a whille since boro's been in europe). arsanal are in the champions league not EUFA cup so we won't be playing them

I don't mind the Boro fans revelling in their moment of semi-glory, it'll probably be ANOTHER 128 years before they win anything

You can sneer ALL you want .... but, the fact remains - BORO WON IT!!
And along the way they humbled Arsenal, who were decidedly 'average' - don't tell me Arsenal turn up to lose a game ... it just wouldn't happen! The team they put out went all guns blazing to win - BORO played them off the pitch!! Whooooooped ***!!
I will put money on Arsenal coming away with some silverware - but Newcastle are just making up the numbers in Europe and the Premier League ... they are purely fodder for the big teams
