Never leave yourself logged on when a ManU supporter is around.
Info correct but there must be some more knowledgeable people out there.

Off the top of my head.... Leicester City last season at OT, probably been a more recent one

Barthez worked mind game wonders and saved it.

That's right.
Barthez went from post to post kicking them to clean his boots.
Forgot about that one ... ref should have booked him ...

Another bit of trivia I don't know the answer though.

When last [if ever] did David Beckham round any keeper in a one on one situation.

No need to when you can chip the ball over the keeper

Yawn Yawn...

Is it compulsory to round the 'keeper in one on ones then? As STI says, if you don't need to then what's the point?

I loved that interview "So I chiped him " I'm sure he knew the irony in chipping a 6' + keeper from 30 yards as apposed to rounding him The blokes a legend !!

Talking

Dont forget the beautiful pass from Veron to set him up, outside of the right foot swinging left to right, bending round the retreating defense all to be finished off with that chip

I don't care how the ball goes in myself, rounding, chips, volleys off the left bolock, its nestling in the old onion bag that'll do for me, as long as it was created by a 60 ft pass to feet

I was asking the question as he said he didn't like doing them, not because I thought he has a lack of skill.
Was in no way intended as a slur on the man and sorry to those who think it was.
This looked like a sort of Man Utd trivia thread and was going well until I ruined it with such a foolish question.

Worst start to a season for united.
Newcastle and Chelsea mushed them up.
Then ...

Southampton slaughtered them 6-3 including a penalty.

Adding 96/97 Season and they did win the Championship [luck]

In the post match interview, Beckham said he was not the best one-on-one with the keeper.

Still, he did OK.

:-)
