They played with confidence last night - never even had to step up into second gear. They 'let' Spartak have a little 10 min spell in the 2nd half - in all honesty though Spartak were a crap side - but hey - who cares?

Hamann had a blinder - praps if he had been available to play against Basle - the result would have been different last week.

Yes 4pts versus 9pts unbeaten is definetly doing the same as Man Utd. With only Valencia being a threat I wouldnt expect you not to qualify. In fact only the Geordies will be missing from the quarters IMHO.

Scrape . . hardly made it easy for ourselves with the Basle game did we ? Valencia did us a big favour last night too. 2nd place should be a forgone conclusion really, but I always believe if you can't beat the best teams in the tournament then you don't deserve to win the trophy.
