That's been one of the crappiest games this world cup. Should have stuck the Sweden/Argie game on the telly instead. IMHO

The pub where I was watching the match (in Frankfurt) has a couple of resident Argies, including one of the barmaids, and is also quite near to a Swedish bank. So we had both matches going on in different corners of the pub. Has to be said, the biggest cheer of the morning was the Swedish scored.

Almost felt sorry for the barmaid as everyone broke into "you're going home, you're going home etc."

But not that sorry

 

German TV filmed us lot in an Irish pub in Böblingen during the game which was shown on the evening news that night, the German presenter had us all lined up at the end singing "Don't cry for me Argentina".
