To be held at The Queens head in Burley on the 10th June 8ish, There is another thread about this, http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=91006
I thought I'd post it up again, so that it's labeled Dorset, and not only Hants.
I'll be there for one!
Ron.

Dean, and all.
You can't miss the pub, it's on the main street through Burley, on a corner, with parking round the back!

Well done Duncan.
How many are going to want to meet at Cadnam? It will make a difference to the exact meeting location.
Cheers Paul.

Paul, I intend coming subject to work etc, not 100% sure where Pub is so meeting at Cadnam sounds good, always assuming you dont try & LOOSE us all between Cadnam & the Pub. Your reputation preeceds you !

Yeah, I will be up for meeting at Cadnam.

Two suggestions of meeting point: Sir John Barleycorn which is the pub located just off the Cadnam junction or if there are a few people meeting up, how about the Coach and Horses which is cadnam end of the road to Totton?

Not for a second suggesting any of you speed !..... but for those heading down on the M27 to Cadnam remember the 50 limit through the roadworks. I use this stretch daily and there have been loads of mobile camera units about and this was where I was very lucky not to have been nabbed myself.

Jen/Chris: Good news about the car!! What cantre section have you gone for? Must sort this out myself but new tyres for the rear first.... New SO3s on the front and not so new REO10s on the rear leads to interesting handling!

Cheers
Steve

Steve - we've got Simon's old centre () someone correct me if I'm wrong (very very bad morning this morning!) but I think it's a Magnex. Currently standing next to our phone table made of spare Scooby wheels - I think people are starting to wonder if I'm normal We're also gonna nick his headlight bulbs - nice guy that Simon (who also has a lovely dog and incredibly cute baby )

[rant on]
Unfortunalty a bit of bad news on the car front - They've discovered one of the valves has become unseated (?!) (due to cam belt problems?) so it has to go to 'shatts, those of you that know me can imagine my reaction when Chris told me where it was going! I think the office thought the house had burnt down or something. I was not best pleased, but what can you do?! Also, need a new wheel as the back one is bent...now personally, I would have thought these two things would have been top of the list to check due to obvious damage to the tyre and the cam belt coming off...but then what do I know Chris will correct me if I'm talking pants and have got it all wrong.

Just hope it doesn't get nicked at 'shatts Anyway, now aiming for next Friday, so might be in time for the meet. They've got to replace the tyre on the wheel that's bent though - so it looks like we're going to have an arguement as they don't believe you have to replace at least two. Also, we want to get the cambelt changed before any "enthusiastic" driving, so may well be the Corsa at the next one....I'll let you all know re: meeting beforehand though...

[/rant off]

I had 4 new SO3's on my car & the handling was awful, Tramlining all over the place, Just fitted 4 Toyo tis,s & already better, your interesting handling might just be the front tyres !
I am now left with 4-SO3's with about a 1000 miles on which aparently because they have loads of tread are no good for the track, still at least I have got 4 full size spares

Bad Bads - not much choice when the other car has a big bend in it ;-)

It seemed like the logical progression, the other car was great but going back seemed pointless.
