Meet on December 1st at Ashburton Motor Works:
The meet will be at Ashburton Motor Works on Saturday 1st December. There will be a buffet and drinks available. Merv has asked what we would want to do and has offered to do code readings on our cars. He will also have a new STI jacked up if he has one and we want that. If the BRZ is still there then we can look at that (must admit I liked it when I saw it today)too. Merv gives a discount to SIDC members and maybe we can have oil changes and winter health checks done if we want? Obviously we will have to pay for that. ANyone have any ideas of what they would like the dealer to do for us? Be realistic though.

News from the dealer is that he has 50 customers and ex customers coming. There will be bacon baps available from 10 am and a buffet lunch from 12. I will have some SIDC merchandise for sale and Merv will have official Subaru merchandise for sale until Christmas time.

Merv has requested that those taking part in the show and shine might like to donate a pound or so (not compulsory) to the Subaru UK and local dealer charity to support a village in Cambodia. Any donations will be gratefully received. Lets see if we can get 100 cars there!!

Coach sets of at 2.30. Food and drink laid on before the match, few drinks after - prob unconsious by 7.0 hic

 

The show and shine will be based on overall appearance of car, paintwork, interior, engine bay and something else I cannot remember, with a max of 10 points awarded for each category with 50 points a possibility. The cars will be judged by Subaru UK management so get cleaning boys and girls!!
